Transparency

From April 2009 up to this date we have been investing our startup capital into several operational tools.

The investments are related to:

• development of the livingamsterdam.com booking site
• development of the robintravels.com website
• marketing and pr
• online publicity
• travel abroad to the selected schools
• office setup in Amsterdam (Javastraat 180) with all necessary staff
• services provided by external companies:
  
  1. property management system (connection to central hotel reservation system)
  2. graphic development
  3. translations
  4. IT development
  5. research into sustainable development
  6. partnership with hotels

Even if up to this date we have not been able to retrieve the initial expenses,  we have started a quarterly donation to support the AID Eindhoven project in June 2009. The amount of the donation is equal to 5 percent of our expenses. During 2010 we made two donations of 500€ each to Bal Ashram and Alice Project.

After reaching the break-even point, all surplus revenues will be donated for projects - except revenues needed for our expenses. The financial report will be published after reaching this goal.
